OneDayQuiz Cookie Notice
This is an English translation of our Italian cookie policy. If the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails.

This page describes the cookies and other tracking tools used by OneDayQuiz, available at https://onedayquiz.com, and how you can give, change or withdraw your choices.
The data controller is ONiDEA adv Srl unipersonale, Via Adeodato Ressi 16, 20125 Milan, Italy, VAT no. IT10309720968, who can be contacted at info@onedayquiz.com.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites send to your device, where they are stored and sent back to the same sites on your next visit. Alongside cookies there are other tools that work in a similar way, including tracking pixels, SDKs, advertising identifiers and fingerprinting techniques, to which the same rules apply.
Cookies can be set directly by the site owner (first-party cookies) or by third parties whose services are used on the site (third-party cookies).
2. Technical cookies: no consent required
These are the cookies needed to transmit a communication or to provide a service you have explicitly requested. They do not require consent, but we still have to inform you about them, which is what this page does. OneDayQuiz uses the following technical cookies:
- occ_cookie — Stores the choice you made in the cookie banner — 182 days
- PHPSESSID — Keeps your browsing session — Session
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* — Keep registered users logged in to their account — 2 to 14 days
- wordpress_apbct_antibot and ct_* keys — CleanTalk spam filter: check that forms are not being submitted by an automated system — Session
- quiz_scores, global_score, ods_viewed_*, ods_liked_*, ods_progress_* — Store scores and progress in quizzes and interactive stories — Up to 12 months
3. Analytics cookies
The site uses analytics cookies that do not meet all the conditions set by the Italian data protection authority to be treated as technical cookies. These cookies require your consent, which you can give or refuse in the banner and change at any time.
- _ga — Google Ireland Limited — Distinguishes users for site statistics (Google Analytics 4) — 2 years — privacy policy
- _ga_C8DLDZ1QX9, _ga_V432KZ93WS — Google Ireland Limited — Keep the Google Analytics 4 session state — 2 years — privacy policy
4. Profiling and marketing cookies: consent required
These cookies are used to link certain behaviors and preferences to specific people, in order to show advertising that matches the interests they have shown or to tailor the service to them. They are only set after you have given free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent.
- __eoi — Google Ireland Limited — Identifies the browser to measure ads and limit how often they are shown. It is also set if you refuse marketing cookies, when non-personalized ads are shown — 6 months — privacy policy
- Google AdSense cookies on googlesyndication.com and doubleclick.net — Google Ireland Limited — Select, personalize and measure ads — Up to 13 months — privacy policy
- _fbp — Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — Identifies the browser to measure the results of ads on Facebook and Instagram and to build the audiences they are shown to — 3 months — privacy policy
- _fbc — Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — Stores the click parameter in the link of an ad, to attribute your visit to that ad: it is only created if you reach the site from a Meta ad — 3 months — privacy policy
Users with an active Premium Pass see no ads and therefore do not receive the Google cookies listed above. Meta pixel cookies do not depend on the ads shown on the site: if you have accepted this category, they are set even with an active Premium Pass.
5. Third-party cookies
Some features of the site rely on services provided by third parties, which may set their own cookies on your device. The controller has no direct control over these cookies. Below is the current list of third parties, with links to their policies.
- Google Fonts — Google Ireland Limited — Loads fonts: your IP address is sent to Google — No cookies set — privacy policy
- Stripe — Stripe Payments Europe Ltd — Payment processing and fraud prevention on the payment page hosted by Stripe — Cookies set on Stripe’s domain at the time of payment — privacy policy
- Meta pixel — Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — Records page views to measure advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and to build audiences: the script only loads after you consent to marketing cookies — _fbp and _fbc cookies on the onedayquiz.com domain — privacy policy
6. Data transfers outside the European Union
Some of the providers listed also process data outside the European Economic Area. In these cases the transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the other safeguards provided by Articles 44 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as stated in each provider’s policy.
7. Your choices
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all cookies, refuse them all, or choose by category. Until you make a choice, no statistics or ad personalization cookies are set: Google Analytics and the Meta pixel stay off. The exception is Google’s __eoi cookie, which may be set when non-personalized ads are shown (see section 4). For this purpose the site uses Google Consent Mode v2, which tells Google’s services that consent has been refused before they can collect any data.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link, available on every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
The banner is not shown again to users who have already made a choice, unless at least six months have passed since it was last shown, the conditions of processing change significantly, or it is not technically possible to keep a record of the previous choice.
8. Managing cookies in your browser
Whatever choices you make on this site, you can set your browser to block or delete cookies:
Chrome —
Firefox —
Safari —
Edge.
Disabling technical cookies may stop the site from working properly.
9. Your rights
You can exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 at any time: access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. Send your requests to info@onedayquiz.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
The processing of personal data is described in full in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to this policy
This cookie policy may be updated following changes to the services we use or to the applicable law. Significant changes may require us to ask for your consent again.
