Terms of Use

This is an English translation of our Italian Terms of Use. If the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails.

OneDayQuiz is an entertainment website (quizzes, riddles, interactive stories, reviews and articles about games and leisure) run by ONiDEA adv Srl unipersonale, registered office at Via Adeodato Ressi 16, 20125 Milan, Italy, VAT no. IT10309720968, entered in the Milan Economic and Administrative Index (REA) under no. MI-2521403.

These Terms of Use govern access to the site, account registration and the use of the site’s services, which are all free: there are no subscriptions or paid content. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Using the site

1.1 Browsing and using the free content does not require registration. Some features (saving scores, story progress, hints, your account area) require an account.

1.2 The site is offered for personal, non-commercial use. You may not systematically extract the content, reproduce it on other sites or services, get around access restrictions, interfere with the operation of the site or its security systems, or use automated collection tools except within the limits allowed by the robots.txt file.

2. Account

2.1 Creating an account is free and requires a username, a valid email address, a password and your country. The information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

2.2 Age. An account can be created by anyone aged fourteen or over. For anyone under fourteen, sign-up is only possible through a person with parental responsibility, who is responsible for the child’s use of the site.

2.3 Your login details are personal and may not be transferred. Keep them safe and let us know right away, by writing to info@onedayquiz.com, if you suspect someone else has accessed them.

2.4 You can close your account at any time by writing to info@onedayquiz.com. Closing your account means losing your scores and your progress.

3. Site content

3.1 The texts, graphics, the OneDayQuiz brand, the software and the structure of the site belong to ONiDEA adv Srl or are used under licenses or permissions from their respective owners, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

3.2 You may view the content, share links to it and quote short excerpts with credit to the source. You may not reproduce quizzes, stories, articles or question collections in full, or reuse them in your own products or services, without our written consent.

3.3 If you believe content published on OneDayQuiz infringes one of your rights, in particular regarding images, texts or audio, write to info@onedayquiz.com stating the content and the right you believe has been infringed: we will check and, if the report is well founded, remove or replace the material.

4. Advertising

The site’s pages may contain ads provided by third parties. Ads are clearly recognizable as such and are not our recommendation of the products or services they promote.

5. Communications

5.1 Service messages. We send registered users the messages needed to run their account: sign-up confirmation, password reset and notices of significant changes to the service or to these terms. These messages cannot be turned off while the account is active.

5.2 Marketing messages. News, new quizzes, initiatives and offers are only sent to people who have given specific, separate consent, which is not a condition for signing up or using the site. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, free of charge, using the link in each message or by writing to info@onedayquiz.com.

6. Service availability

6.1 We do our best to keep the site accessible and working, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. The service may be suspended for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.

6.2 We are liable for damage caused by our willful misconduct or negligence. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law grants to consumers.

7. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account and remove content in the event of a breach of these terms or of the law, informing the person concerned and stating the reason.

8. Changes

We may change these Terms of Use to reflect changes in the service or in the law. Significant changes are communicated to registered users by email or through a notice on the site, with reasonable advance notice. If you keep using the site after the changes take effect, they are considered accepted; if you do not agree, you can close your account.

9. Governing law and disputes

9.1 These terms are governed by Italian law.

9.2 For disputes with a consumer, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or chosen domicile has exclusive jurisdiction, if located in Italy. For disputes with users who are not acting as consumers, the Court of Milan has jurisdiction.

9.3 Before going to court, we invite you to write to us at info@onedayquiz.com: we try to reply within five business days and to solve the problem directly.
